Soft touching Matte Masterbatch for BOPP Film M8135
Soft touching BOPP film,which have an attractive matte appearance and a rich,velvet-like feel,have grown popular with print and packaging designers during the last decade.Soft touch film enable luxury and cosmetic businesses to highlight their high-end status while making the unboxing process a joyful-and even memorable-tactile even.soft touching film also aid in the protection of packaging in high-traffic retail locations.
More significantly,soft touching film boost sales.According to one survey,shoppers are willing to pay 5% more for a product in a soft-feeling package.
But there are several processes to produce the soft touching film , the plain BOPP film will be slit into smaller sizes after co-extrusion, then coated with 10-15mm EVA and 3-10mm water-based or solvent-based soft touching coating. In addition to the complexity of the process,the high cost, and the low production rate,the product has problems such as yellowing.
Our R&D department is currently developing a patented and innovative soft touching / velvet matte masterbatch that is coating-free and extrudes at one go for BOPP film.
